It only took 13 years, but finally, someone has sent in the correct answer to the heretofore
unsolved CHALLENGE RIDDLE of our original Riddles & Riches game. Jim and Janel Anthony
of Grove City, PA were apparently intrigued enough
to attempt the challenge riddle after a recent
playing of the original
game. The riddle was as follows:
CHALLENGE RIDDLE!
So, you're piloting a cruise
ship with a crew of 100.
350 Men board at the 1st port
350 Women board at the 2nd
9 children get on at the last.
The ship hits a storm and all
the crew except you jump ship.
The ship rolls 180 (degrees)
and sinks. Everybody who goes
down gives you the answer.
Now in the end, find it in the house.
After some diligent puzzle solving and searching through the photos of the game, Jim and his wife Jane
submitted their answer just before the stroke of midnight yesterday.... and got it correct! Now technically,
the contest ended 10 years ago, remaining unsolved until today. But we were so excited that someone
actually got it correct, that we decided to award them a free pick of any R&R game. Congratulations Jim and Jane!
